Comprehensive ABA (sometimes referred to as IBI or EIBI) refers to 1:1, BCBA supervised instruction that teaches skills across all developmental milestones for between 20-40 hours per week in the comfort of your home and community. Regular assessments, parent and mediator training/coaching, transfer of skills into all environments as well as meetings with parents and others on your child’s Team, are part of both focused and comprehensive ABA.
Cost: No out of pocket expenses for families currently receiving funds through the OAP and for families paying out of pocket, ABI is pleased to offer a sliding scale in an effort to serve our Families.
Focused ABA refers to 1:1, BCBA supervised instruction that focuses on a limited number of goals and the number of hours are flexible and representative of the number of hours required to achieve those goals (e.g. 8-16 hours per week) in the comfort of your home and community. Regular assessments, parent and mediator training/coaching, transfer of skills into all environments as well as meetings with parents and others on your child’s Team, are part of both focused and comprehensive ABA.
